Distinguish one and all;

It is a great honor  to be selected from among over 1.5 million young people  to serve as the keynote speaker on this wonderful day and occasion marking the launch of “vote your future 2011 campaign” in order to encourage more than 700,000 young and first time voters to register.
This day is wonderful because young people have come to the realization that we can no longer sit on the fence or be used as weapons of war and destruction, as trouble makers, and societal deviants but rather we can act and think positively.

Fellow citizens, over the years young people of today have been called the “failed generation”.  As the result of that many of us have engage in armed robbery, drugs abuse, murder, prostitution, theft and so on. It is no secret that we constitute more than 60% of our population and any country who does not give priority to 50% of her population will have to tell a story.
As young people of diverse political thoughts and ideologies, of different economic and social status, of different religious affiliations, of varied culture and tradition, of different physical conditions and of diverse interest and schools of thought have decided to come together under one garment in the interest of our one common denominator which is Liberia. This is a clear manifestation to Liberians and the world over that “in union strong, success a sure, we will not fail”. We will not agree to the tagged name “a failed generation” we will together denounce violence and forge to rebuild our nation together by democratically engaging in processes of electing our leaders.

We will say to you people of Liberia and the world, that we are prepare to take hold of our destiny, we are ready for positive engagement in reworking our future, we are prepare to take our country to another level with your support. Yes we can! Yes we will! Yes we shall! And yes we must!

We call on all young people of Liberia reaching the required age, from east to west, from north to south; from Cape mount to Cape Montserrado to Cape Palmas, from Wologisi mountain to the Bong range to Mount Nimba; from Lofa, Grand Gedeh, Margibi, Grand Cape Mount, Maryland, Sinoe, Grand Kru, Bomi, Bong, Nimba, River Gee, Garpolu, River Cess, Montserrado and Grand Bassa;Yanna boys, shoe shine boys, motor cyclist or pempem boys,  taxi drivers, market women, young entrepreneurs, hair braiders, students, petty traders, car loaders, young men and women  to come out in your numbers to secure your space to register beginning now to February 6, 2011.  Join the campaign to vote your future 2011. This is one of the largest conglomerations in decades. We say this is just the beginning and an introduction to a holistic approach for 2017.

In conclusion, voting is a right not a privilege! To vote you have to register.
Register today vote tomorrow and be the change you want to see.

Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you all.
